Privacy

The short version: there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies. We never require your name or email, and we don't sell or share anything.
What stays in your browser
The game saves a few things in your browser's local storage so it works the way you'd expect:
- A random player ID, created the first time you visit
- Your lineups and results for each puzzle
- Your settings: color-blind mode, whether you've seen How to play, and which puzzle you were on
This never leaves your device except as described below. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it, and you'll start fresh.
What reaches our server
When you lock in a lineup for a daily puzzle, we store:
- A scrambled version of your random player ID. It's run through a one-way keyed hash, so it can't be turned back into the original.
- The players you picked, your score, whether you played on the puzzle's own day, and when.
We use this to keep it to one entry per puzzle and to work out the "better than X% of players" standings. It isn't linked to your name, email or IP address. Practice lineups are scored and then thrown away.
Feedback
If you use Send feedback, we keep your message, which puzzle you were on, and your email address if you chose to give one. It's emailed to the person who runs the game and saved so it doesn't get lost. We only use your email to reply to you.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages, block abuse and limit how often lineups can be submitted. The game itself doesn't store your IP address. Cloudflare's handling of this data is covered by its privacy policy.
Visitor counts
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't follow you across other sites, and only gives us totals, like how many people visited today.
Fonts and images
Everything the page needs, including the fonts, loads from this site. Nothing is pulled from other companies' servers.
Children
The game isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
