    About Salary Cap Clash

Salary Cap Clash is a free daily NFL lineup puzzle for fantasy football fans. Every day there's a new past season (or a single week in Week mode) and a pool of real players, each with a salary set only from what was known going in: last season's stats, draft slot for rookies. Pick a quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, a tight end and a defense without going over the $50,000 cap, then see how your lineup actually scored in full PPR, how close you came to the perfect lineup, and how you stack up against everyone else who played today. A new puzzle drops every day at midnight Eastern.

    How to play

    The goal

Build a lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE and 1 D/ST without going over the $50,000 salary cap. Your players score what they actually scored that season (or that week). Get as close as you can to the perfect lineup.

    How salaries work

Every salary is set only from what was known before the puzzle's season or week: last season's points per game, draft slot for rookies, and season-to-date form in Week mode. A breakout year shows up as a bargain. A star who got hurt or fell off still costs full price. Knowing who hit and who busted is the whole game.

    Your result

    • % of perfect: your points divided by the best lineup that fits under the cap, found with full hindsight.
    • Best lineup on paper: what you'd score by trusting the salaries and nothing else. Beat it to show you actually knew something.
    • 🟩 ✓ in the perfect lineup · 🟨 ★ top third at his position · ⬜ missed. (Color-blind mode uses 🟧 and 🟦.)
    • Better than X% of players: compared with everyone who played that puzzle on its day. It appears once enough people have played.
    • One lineup per puzzle. Your first locked lineup is the one that counts.
